MY THOUGHTS
Let me get this straight: I like Maggie's work.
I liked The Wolves of Mercy Wolves.
I really liked The Raven Boys.
And I LOVED The Scorpio Races.
But this book has to be my least favorite.
My major annoyance with this book is the insta-love.
Deirdre and Luke barely know each other and they're soul-mates?
I would believe it better if they knew each other longer and if their feelings are shown (intense kissing scenes don't count).
Other than that, some things weren't quite explained well enough

But that didn't bother me as much as the insta-love.
In fact, if the romance was not insta-love or played such a major role, I would've liked this book.

I like your review a lot. Straight and to the point! Yeah, I have to agree. It's probably my least favorite Maggie book. But I feel like even my least favorite Maggie book is still pretty likeable! I totally agree with the instalove. It didn't bother me as much, but I totally get it. Seems like there's a lot of Instalove these days! Great review!
