Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Authors I've Read The Most Books From

Hosted each week by The Broke and the Bookish, it's a meme for listing the top ten for everything bookish.

This is a really easy one for me to do, thanks to Goodreads. Goodreads handily has a list of my most read authors, so I just go down the list! Though, some of these are throwbacks.

P.S. I've read more books from R.L. Stine and Mary Pope Osburne back in my elementary days, but I don't remember which books I read, so I can't count how many.

1. Erin Hunter
Erin Hunter
TOTAL READ: 37
Back in my middle school years, I was obsessed with the Warriors series and devoured anything Warriors. I've since stopped reading them, but it still remains close to my heart, and to be one of the longest series I've read.

2. Jennifer L. Armentrout

TOTAL READ: 17
Obviously a more recent one. Despite the fact that I adore her books, I'm always surprised to see how many I've read from her!

3. Wendelin Van Draanen

TOTAL READ: 15
Another throwback. The Sammy Keyes series was another favorite of mine during my middle school years. Again, I dropped it, but I don't know why.

4. Rachel Caine
Rachel Caine
TOTAL READ: 15
Pretty much thanks to the Morganville Vampires series. Though, she just published another book that I really want to read! (Ink and Bone)

5. James Patterson
James Patterson
TOTAL READ: 15
Meh. I used to love this guy's books, but now I avoid them. I loved the Maximum Ride series when I read them, same with Witch&Wizard, but that was back when I loved everything I read. Now, I recognize the flaws and plot holes. I also hate how his books always return from the dead. Both those series ended, but now they're cranking out more books. I admit that I don't want to read anymore of his books, mostly because I hate the style of his books! Those short chapters are annoying!

6. Margaret Peterson Haddix
Margaret Peterson Haddix
TOTAL READ: 15
She's famous for her Shadow Children series, but I discovered her with her Missing series, which is a fantastic time travel series that I discovered way before Goodreads! I still read books from her!

7. Rick Riordan
Rick Riordan
TOTAL READ: 13
I'm really not surprised that Rick is on the list! I've read all his MG books (I have to clarify because he's also written adult books) and he's one of my favorite authors!

8. Lauren Oliver
Lauren Oliver
TOTAL READ: 13
Again, not a surprise. Every since I read the Delirium trilogy, I've picked up everything she has written! I even read her adult book, which is out of my comfort zone.

9. Julie Kagawa
Julie Kagawa
TOTAL READ: 12
Another favorite!! I LOVE the Blood of Eden series, as well as her Iron Fey books! Gah! Now I'm upset that I haven't gotten to read The Iron Warrior yet!

10. Sarah Dessen
Sarah Dessen
TOTAL READ: 11
I'm so close to reading all of her books! I only have Someone Like You left, and I have a copy ready to read! Who knows, maybe I'll finish off the collection before this post goes up...

So, what authors have you read a lot from?
