Stacking the Shelves (November 8th 2014)

Hosted by Tynga's Reviews. Stacking the Shelves is where all the book nerds can post about the lovely (or not so lovely) books that they've got this week.

P.S. The covers take you to the book's Goodreads page!

Books I've Read in the Last Week

Checked Out From Library

Books I Bought

I went to two cheap book sales. Again. I admit it, I have a problem.
I promise that these are the last book sales I'm going to this year!

For Review

Thanks to Amanda Thome, Melissa Giorgio, Bloomsbury, & Netgalley!

Anyway, what books did you haul in this week?

  1. I just bought Dark Secrets I by Elizabeth Chandler, so I'm glad we have an author in common. My thoughts on starting The Luxe series: meh. I'm gonna wait for your review on it. I haven't put much thought into reading Talon. I've heard it's about dragons and fantasy, but I don't know where to find it in bookstores. Awesome haul!

    1. Dark Secrets is a great series (although, it's not really a series..). Talon was okay. It's not the author's best and it's too much like Firelight for my liking.

  2. Wow, that's a lot of books! The Cupcake Queen was adorable. I love Laurie Faria Stolarz Blue is for Nightmares series (Silver is book #3), I <3 Morganville, Dreamland was really good and Leaving Paradise was amazing. I hope you enjoy them all! You don't have a problem... you have lots of great books!

    1. I own the first two books in the Blue is for Nightmares series, so I decided to grab it! I've actually read Dreamland and it was amazing!
But I have over 100 books that I own but not read, it's becoming a problem.

  3. I enjoyed The Secret Diamond Sisters for what it was, so didn't take it too seriously and enjoyed the drama. :) I read Amber House a while ago, can't remember exactly what it was about, so I guess it didn't leave much of an impression on me, haha. Happy reading! :)

    1. The Diamond Sisters were okay. I had a bit of a love-hate relationship towards the drama. Amber House was really interesting, but yeah, I'll probably forget about it eventually.

  4. Love how you are not going to any more book sales this year. You just have to hold out for less than 2 months. Love all that you got.
